I don’t understand the point you’re trying to make besides using buzz words There is no liquidation for MSTR at a specific price point Your concern that they need to pay $10 Billion by the end of 2028 to cover the converts in full if they all redeemed on their put dates + dividend payments of outstanding pref liabilities assumes there is no ability to issue equity and no way to raise any cash at all for the next 2.5 years MSTR has traded $3 Billion today so far. They can issue at current price point if they choose to and likely have already during this drawdown. Their access to raise cash through the capital markets is massive and will continue to be regardless of temporary price action. MSTR is a massive hedge for spot Bitcoin. A ton of volume and open interest is derived purely by this function. As long as Bitcoin stays volatile, MSTR will as well and the capital markets will provide more than enough liquidity to service any and all cash raises necessary They absolutely could go and sell 20% of their stack in the next week to cover all cash but that likely does far more damage than it does good to appease the people who are scared and don’t understand the capital markets and this structure. Their ability to generate the cash necessary is a non issue. The dilution is way overblown. To date, 23.6 million shares have been issued to pay the dividends and acquire the cash reserves. 6% of total share count over the course of 16 months or so. This is not the doom loop crisis people are making it out to be. The math on 6% dilution and an 80% drawdown doesn’t equate to rational thinking. Especially given the assets have nearly 4x’d. The math and facts don’t support the level of emotion and irrational actions displayed the last few weeks. I thought people would understand this after multiple bear markets but apparently that isn’t the case Do you think Bitcoin does not bottom and does not start a new uptrend in the next 2 years? That would go against all historical precedence at the same time institutional adoption is building out and accelerating. Bitcoin is changing hands to a new set of long term holders as it always does in a bear market but more so now than ever before as its early adoption phase has come to an end. You’re looking at the next 10-20 years of holders not the dwindling early adopters of the first 15 years The price is telling you people are way too emotional about the FUD they are reading and what you’re promoting. It will look very stupid when Bitcoin is on its way to $250k and nothing you claimed materialized. Much like the sentiment of doom and failure post FTX when that turned out to be nothing. 4 years later we’re nearly at the highs at 60k from where the previous cycle topped out at and so many of you are acting like the world is falling You’re not saving anyone here. But people selling at the lows thinking it’ll go so much lower (in which they believe they will then capitalize on. They won’t) and doesn’t is a tale as old as time@mikewmunz “The price is telling you people are way too emotional about the FUD they are read” Or crazy idea - maybe the price is just reflecting the reality of the situation?View original on X ↗
