Bitcoin supply by custody setup ⤵️ Out of the 21M bitcoin:native that will ever exist: Only 4.4% is left to be mined. With every halving, less & less new BTC enters the market until that number eventually gets close to 0 Even crazier, around 7.7% of the entire supply is estimated to be lost forever... That's 1.62M BTC or >$100B 🤯 Another interesting one: 36.1% is held on exchanges & with custodians 37.9% is in active self custody Almost an even split. And then you have institutions... Funds/ETFs + treasury companies now hold 12.2% of all BTC This is probably the part that changed the most over the last few years. Go back a few years and institutional ownership looked VERY different Personally, I think this has been one of the biggest drivers behind Bitcoin's move from the 2022 lows to ATHs More institutional demand + less & less new supply Pretty simple math... The future is bright@DomOnChain Supply is getting tighter every day while demand keeps climbing. Bullish as hell!View original on X ↗
Deterministic: the same prices and policy always give the same result
