“$BTC and Alts Thus far, price has largely played out as anticipated and in line with how I've positioned tactically. Nowadays, I use charts more as a compass to frame areas of interest. Execution itself comes down to reading flows, positioning and how participants respond at key inflection points. As for Bitcoin, keeping things relatively simple. The September 21 breakout origin around 81.7k fuelled by short liquidations saw price push into 87s. We've since rotated back into that area and tested it several times - (confluent with mondays lows) In a market showing genuine upside conviction, you'd generally expect buyers to defend that origin and establish acceptance higher. Repeated tests without meaningful upside displacement aren't particularly encouraging from a tactical perspective. Doesn't necessarily mean we break down, but it does raise questions about the underlying strength of demand.... For now, I'm positioned and hedged for potential downside continuation. Acceptance back above the 85s would have me reassess and begin rolling off the hedge. Equally, I'm interested in buying opportunities, but I'd want to see a shift in momentum, evidence of buyers stepping in with conviction and an ability to sustain higher prices.... Ultimately, no attachment to a directional bias. It's about recognising where the balance of control sits, how that changes and positioning accordingly. If looks like a range, trades like a range then it probably is a _ _ _ _ _ <insert missing word> Cheers”
“@htltimor the weekly... whats on your radar...”
“The StochRSI When an indicator remains overbought for weeks without convincing price expansion or high-volume continuation, I become increasingly cautious of downside risk... The indicator isn't actionable in isolation, but helps me determine when to be aggressive versus defensive... I generally use it as a mechanical oscillator along with htf supply and demand zones But ultimately - a trade strategy and its execution is what is more important. Bitcoin and various alts... exhibiting signs of the weekly stoch remaining overbought at the moment...”
“@trader1sz Reminds of what happened in 2023... from 25k to 19k if it does”
“Correction 2720s *”
“$ETH remains rotatational within Monday’s 100-point--ish range, rejecting the 1720s again. Very good intraday/intraweek conditions, but direction remains unresolved. 29s remain the more significant resistance above. Trade there and I’d expect BTC to revisit 86s. Until then, resistance is resistance at 1720s until proven otherwise. Let the liquidity games continue.”

“$BTC A weekly close around here should all but confirm the 12/25 EMA crossover... Historically, that shift has preceded some strong momentum phases higher. Interim, $82–83k is the key zone. For continuation longs, I want to see price trade through supply and find acceptance above it alongside the 365D rolling VWAP. Do that and there’s scope for the move to accelerate, particularly if shorts are forced to unwind and would look for price to trade the range qtr / value area high around 90k If rejected, $78.5–79k the 3-week composite VAH... is the first level I want to see hold. Lose that and I’d look for rotation back through value towards the opposite extreme as an intraweek trade. On a deeper HTF correction, $68–72k is the major reaction zone, 12/25 bands + macro mid. Hold there and the broader bullish structure remains intact. Even an extended range, imo, is more about accumulating value than invalidating the HTF thesis. My broader bias shifted in July: see earlier tweet. Spot: buying key levels / confirmed breakouts. Perps: trading level to level on both sides - which is mainly what I comment on... separate from the HTF view. Good luck”

“@dea_yora Currently have downside exposure via alts In terms of bitcoin - still positioned short and took some off overnight... Looking for a reason to cut and reverse...”
“Not surprised to see many alts to partially pullback tbh - as is generally the case when heading into uncertainty around CPI or FOMC... Key for me now in terms of context is that Bitcoin is trading below - Previous weeks vwap - Developing weekly vwap - Developing monthly vwap Session wise - failure to find acceptance back above the latter two then my expectation is that we should in theory trade down into previous weeks low... which is what I positioned for on Sunday night along with some alts. Otherwise not much else that I'm interested in at present - mainly talking to myself on here if anything... But pleased with the perfomance so far since coming back to trading in sept - still early days and anticipating a decent month in terms of macro driven volatility.”
“Price auctioned higher but ran into a decent wall of supply around the 365D rolling VWAP, with stacked sells sitting around the June & August swing highs / raneg highs. Was a decent move, but there was still a fair bit of sell-side to chew through if price wanted to continue higher. Current view is pretty simple, 50wma & 365d rvwap are the key contextual levels for me here. If price trades back below the 50w particularly then that’s effectively 3 attempts, 3 rejections - and back below. I’d be looking for a move into previous weeks vwap - rotate lower around 77-78s - should that hold then it becomes interesting again with it being a shallow consolidation - back below here then... I guess if its looks like a range and trades like one - then it probably is one...”
